        • Yesterday I stayed at home finishing the aux battery wiring in the Rodeo for #2 son. Wife and #2 went up to the Sunshine Coas to visit family. Went to a Kevvy BBQ last night so didn't see the Prado until this morning. Covered in mud! Oh when we left the farm we turned right and found some tracks. They were fun. Soooo while I spent a day sorting out brackets for the voltage sensitive relay and CCT breaker they were playing!

Yes but do you need to be rude to them, either help them or don't post in the thread. It's a forum new ppl will ask the same stuff over and over so like I said point them to the thread with some advice on the search function. No need for the anger or " not another newbie" comments as they help no one

No anger at all, some people can't take humour I guess

              • Some ppl don't see the humour over the Internet, if they knew you then yes maybe they would see the humour. I just don't think it looks good for the forum when new ppl join and ask a question then are called newbies and to rudely to use the search but hey that's just my opinion. I have seen it done a lot of times by different ppl so by no means am I having a go at you.

                    • Sorry to hear about your carpark dramas.
I recon I had more paint damage in urban areas then all 4wd track combined. Lot of people get upset if you park next to then just because our car is bigger then yours.
What shits me most though is that just becasue i have a bull bar doesnt mean you can slowly revers all the way up to my front when parking.

                      • Fishpole, if they insist on doing the bullbar antic they maybe use it to push them away from the front of your vehicle a bit lol, your right about urban areas with carparks being the worst. What pisses me off is when people park with their arse over the line so you cant get in next to them instead of straightening up in an already full carpark..... Cheers Steve

                        • Speaking of urban, why is is when people are turning into either a driveway or a side street they feel the need to first swing over into the lane beside them before turning nearly side swiping me ??? (Your not driving a fu##n truck). And/Or people who find they need to stop dead with their rear hanging out onto the main road while deciding to change gear or what ever they feel they need to do before getting there vehicles completely off the road first. I nearly saw a semi driver clean some one up this morning because if this. Yes it would have been the semi's fault but even I could see there was no reason the vehicle couldn't get in the driveway first out of the way, would be the first thing I would be doing if I had a semi coming up behind me, but then some people wouldn't have a clue what's going on around them.....feel sorry these days for anybody having to drive for a living.... My rant for the day. Have a safe day everyone..... Cheers Steve

                          • Steve M, I note a lot of what pisses me off is VERY similar too your comments on this topic.

I have determined the main cause in my case is the fact I live in the inner city, far away from the outdoors, camping, fishing and quiet country I grew up with.

Inner Sydney is a crazy place only a mad man would go to live, everyone seemingly in a hurry to go nowhere. People seem to drive up each other ass, no planning for moves, no indication for turning, and don't start me on roundabouts. This craziness creates more craziness as other drives seem to absorb these bad driving habits.

Inner city living in a cramped duplex has totally trashed my lifestyle, sucked the life out of me literally. I spend days just watching TV and generally sitting around growing fat when I used to go out fishing and camping every weekend.

I'm hanging to get back to the Nth of Brissy where I can unwind in the sun with my Prado, away from the stupidity of this inner city living.

You're very welcome to come up when I get settled and de-stress awhile with me in my little slice of Redneck heaven
