Steve M, I have determined the main cause in my case is the fact I live in the inner city, far away from the outdoors, camping, fishing and quiet country I grew up with.

I can relate a lot to that, I had a very quiet upbringing (less of the camping and fishing) but lived in a large urban sprawl for many years, ended up almost killing me!?? My old man occasionally visited, once had to get to the airport and he was horrified the antics I had to do just to go forward with manner. Country lanes were more his style (all his life), hated the big smoke with a passion!

Inlaws? Hehehe, I feel for ya mate. I am so blessed mine live on the Sunshine Coast so obviously SWMBO is keen on moving to Brissy. Actually, she is already living there and I'm stuck here baby sitting my kid in y12. Ahhh, the sacrifices we have to make when we semi retire and send the wife to work (to support our 4x4 habit)

Spending all day working on a creating a bootable USB with all sorts of Windows recovery software. Then spending 2 hours waiting for it to be copied across to the 64GB USB stick... then just as it's a few minutes away, Winblows 8 decides to finish to it's automatic updates and wants to restart! Click cancel but no wait... too late.... XBoot just crashed and destroyed everything I'd been working on all day long. Goddamned sonofabitchihateyouforeverwinblowswhydidileavemybe lovedlinuxforthis??!

So glad we dodged that bullet.
As much a I was looking forward to our move to the 'country' I wasn't looking forward to moving twice in 2 years.

We are turning our current house into a rental property, doing a few odds and ends and I had to do a little touch up to the manhole surround since a fat a@&sed kitchen company sparky fell through it during our new kitchen build last year, something caught my eye in the roof as I was going up the step ladder, without realizing I got to the top step, tried to keep going and soon realised the next 2 steps did not exist, what made me figure this out was my nose crashing into the manhole trim in the ceiling and my right leg kicking the step ladder out from under me, very sore nose, a@se, leg, wall and tile from where I crashed into everything. F me that hurt! Wife thought it was hilarious, that is what really ticks me off!

That lifting a concrete slab with your head hurts (lots). Slab was propped on top of a 44. I was bent down on knees picking up some bits and CRACK! Head still hurts 2 days later.
