What a day......... But then, too vertical, threw it away late, slammed the back when coming down & didn't clear back of ski.
Here's the money shot as my mate calls it:



On Tuesday I thought my life was mostly over, but looking better again & can laugh about it now, lesson learned.

I can relate to that, riding a pole ski back in the early 80's in a gnarly 6-8 foot surf I had an ooops, now have a nice little 8" scar on my leg as a reminder that (hard fibreglass) jetski + 8' wave + my body = PAIN & Blood in the water

Were you shooting for the moon ####? That was very vertical! Good that you are feeling a bit better, make sure you look after that back and don't overdo it.

I will 2nd that. Had one done in the GP's office once, having the local jabbed in your big toe about 10 times was worse than the cutting. Having to drive myself home afterwards with a numb foot was fun (not), at least it was only up the street.

I thought you were going to say " nothing better " and then , the next picture is some dude on a jet ski , well that's what usually happens up here on our local beaches and rivers . I could clarify that statement but that would entail racially profiling a certain group of people . So I will refrain .

Don't be joking bout that shite. I had to go under genral anaesthetic to get the "boys" disengaged. I am no hero when it comes to blood and guts.

People paying to drink Caffeine Free Diet Coke.

Coke is basically coloured, carbonated water with sugar and caffeine added. Take out the sugar and the caffeine and you are drinking coloured fizzy water.

Lol r4ndll, never thought of it that way. I do drink diet coke being a diabetic but yes without both just what is it otherwise, bet there still a few nasties in there though..... Cheers Steve

Flew back from Perth to Broome yesterday morning on Qantas. They closed the door and pushed us out onto the taxiway. The pilot shut the engines down and the tractor pulled us back up to the landing dock. Pilot announced that an engineer had seen a slight fluid leak from the left engine. They pulled the covers, had a look and then ran the engine for 5 minutes before signing off and giving the all clear. We were delayed for about 40 - 50 minutes but stayed in the plane. Some of the passengers were whining about the delay. I watched half of Gravity on the screen in front of me. I then watched Captain Phillips as we flew safely to Broome. 50 minutes on the ground is nothing compared to falling out of the sky.

A week ago I was coming back from Kuala Lumpur on Malaysian Airlines; same as BushBasher, they loaded us all on closed doors and then sat there for 50 minutes while they tried to fix the aircon before we took off, it was HOT in there after 50 minutes!!! Don't know why they didnt just board us after it was fixed... that would make sense though....


Once again definately happy they fixed it! An 8 hour Sauna would be too much!

Happened to use on a flight to London, it was so hot the lady in the seats across the aisle from us passed out and caused a bit of a kerfuffle with the flight attendants trying to administer first aid. Don't know if the problem wasn't noticed till after takeoff but it was British Airways so who knows LOL.
