Copped a huge rock thrown up by a truck on the out-skirts of Broome on Sunday. Straight into the middle of the lower screen and within a couple of kilometres the cracks have fanned out and cover half the screen. Oh well, at least I get a free windshield each year.

Dodgy Toyota workshops (as in don't know what they're doing)
People that think Prado's are just good to take the kids to school (although mine does do that as well, lol).2007 GXL V6 - ARB Bullbar with LED lights, snorkel, extractors, 2 1/4" dual exhaust, K&N filter, dimpled/slotted rotors, headrest dvd players, Ebay Satnav/reverse camera, GME 3100TX, Tigerz11 Side awning on custom brackets with Maxtrax mounts, 300W Invertor, ARB Underbody protection, Lightbar and STZ 265/70 tyres.

Was in local Toyota dealer today and they showed me photos of a 200 series with a detonated V8 diesel. Apparently, if you drive through the spinifex and clog the radiator and keep on driving despite the high temp warning light, the pistons melt and fall to bits.Last edited by Bushbasher; 23-12-2014, 10:13 PM.Dave

The interesting part is some dealers are quoting more for 80k services than 160k services, there's more on a 160k.
It must be annoying getting quotes on the same Toyota service, from Toyota dealerships & pricing so different.
I don't usually say this but I think about a grand for the 160k is reasonable for a dealer, especially if its petrol.
There is a lot of parts & fluids replaced (everything) & it all takes quite a bit of time to do properly.
Normally I can save people 40% off dealership servicing, but not as much on this one.
