For the record. Should his nibs find the girl is with us and locates us. Which is doubtful but... I will not be engaging in any conversation except to let him know that he is not welcome, if he doesn't leave immediately I will consider it trespassing and will be calling the police.

Yep I don't envy you Bushie. I saw a couple of young ones running riot last night on Canning Bridge over the freeway. Smashing bottles and trying to beat up a guy in his car just because he was trying to obey the road rules and go on the green arrow. The cops turned up to chase em but we all know they will just get a slap on the wrist.

you are right, and everyone just bites their tongues.

mind you, these people don't have a lot to begin with. my beef is also with the government and defence force pensions that go on in huge sums forever and then onto their spouses for years after.. sorry is anyone falls into this category, but it isn't fair for, or on the rest of us.

I hate how people drive in overtaking lanes!! Almost all cars speed up during the overtaking lanes then drop straight back once it's finished.

eg,

Yesterday I'm stuck behind a slow car on the mountain roads...

When we finally reach an overtaking lane there's a truck ahead, so car hogs the right lane as he slowly passes truck...

Car passes truck, then dramatically increases speed and moves to the middle of both lanes...

I push hard around the bends and finally pass car, but as a left lane ending sign appears, car suddenly accelerates even more to try and overtake me...

(( insert supercharger whine! ))

Car backs off, overtaking lane ends, car drops back to slow speed and disappears from my rear view within a couple bends... wtf was his point?

they don't know they are doing it, these are the people that blindly sit 3m behind you and float if you change speed. Thier brain see's car speed up so their foot unknowingly copies...

Heh yeah I know those ones - but there were no other cars to copy in this case - this one was deliberately blocking then accelerating to stay in front. And he had at least one child in the car.....

I assume you are referring to the defence force.

I accept that is a legitimate reason, however i think it would be smarter for the general populous to pay the defence force higher salaries for the time they serve and then have a standard pension after. At least they are getting what they deserve for the time they are serving.

Hey Sam,

If you have actually seen what serving in the millitary does to some people, emotionally, mentally and physically, then I think you would change your tune a little. I am not and hope to never be in the defence force, but I think I have a fair understanding of what goes on. I'm not saying there aren't people out there abusing the system, but I can assure you most of them deserve every cent they get for the work they do defending the country you and I both enjoy.

The ridiculous "pensions" and payments given to "bogans" is what we as a country really need to look at.

Remember, the pension is part of their employment perks, if your employer decided to give you something similar, who am I to say if you deserve it or not.

Same as the idiots who sit at 80-90km/h on the single lane, then speed up to 100-110 when they hit the overtaking lane so you can't legally pass, then drop back once they're through.

Had an 80ker, caravan, poor bugger bit slow, not enough go. BULL$hit overtaking lane, 120k up the hill, I might be 78 not out but let me show you my stx550 tow the sh!t out of this van :?:shock:
