Sounds like you went to one of the phone shops in Busselton where the woman behind the counter starts carry on as if she is going to have a stress breakdown because she has more than one customer at a time, and trys her hardest to pee the potential buyers off.

I have been getting some fabrication jobs quoted lately through some of our local vendors, and have noticed last few months the quotes are on time, as per the original scope, and less bulldust when you ring them about some specific details.
$40k jobs 6 months ago are now about $30k, and can give you a date when it would be completed.

Saw a film a couple of years ago, I think it was called The Waiter but can't be 100% certain.
Although pure fiction, I have it on good authority from a friend in the restaurant trade that this film could be a documentary about certain establishments.
After seeing this film I always complain AFTER the food is finished

I just got back from the local shopping centre only to find that some A'hole had reversed into the rear drivers side bumper and shaved the paint off
Going back to the original post that started this whole thread, I had exactly the same thing happen at The Macquarie Shopping Centre in Sydney last month.
Human nature being what it is, once you see a small dent or scratch it just seems to stand out.
My solution was to fit reflectors over the damage.
A band aid solution I know and I don't actually like the reflectors but they are better than seeing the damage.

Poor customer service is a pet hate of mine, wether it's a crap coffee that cost $4 or a real estate deal.

I reckon the business owners mostly want to hear about your complaint, and it wont get to them if you have a go at the waitress or sales chick. Send the business/head franchisee an e-mail.

I just had a drawn out real estate problem with the sale of our house, the agent stalled transfering the deposit in his trust account to our bank account. I eventually had to sick my solicitor on to him and then he transferred it immediately.

                • Re: Things that tick you off!

MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS - DO NOT DELETE IT!!

Just last weekend on Friday night we parked on the foreshore at

St.Kilda and as I drove away I noticed a sticker on the rear window of

the car, (when I took it off after I got home) it was a receipt for

petrol, luckily my husband said don't stop as it could be someone

waiting for me to get out of the car.

Then we received this email yesterday.

BEWARE OF PAPER IN THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE

NEW WAY TO DO CAR JACKINGS

                  (NOT A JOKE)

Heads up everyone! Please, keep this circulating...

You walk across the parking lot, unlock your car and get inside. You

start the engine and shift into Reverse.

When you look into the rearview mirror to back out of your parking

space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear

window. So, you shift into Park, unlock your doors, and jump out of

your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing
                  your
                  view.

When you reach the back of your car, that is when the car jackers

appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off.

They practically mow you down as they speed off in your car.

                  And guess what, ladies?

I bet your purse is still in the car.

So now the carjacker has your car, your home address, your money, and

                  your keys.

Your home and your whole identity are now compromised!

BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED....

If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, just drive

                  away.

Remove the paper later And be thankful that you read this e-mail.

I hope you will forward this to friends and family, especially to

                  women.

A purse contains all kinds of personal information and identification

documents, and you certainly do NOT want this to fall into the wrong

                  hands.

                  Please keep this going.

Agreed, as long as the customer is reasonable. The opposing view to this, from a staff point of view, is the pet hate of customers expecting unrealistic service. Blaming me because you had to wait for my service is NOT always my fault, it is often a staffing issue to do with management, so take it out on them. Often we share your anger because being worked ridiculously hard and copping customer abuse because of it is not our idea of fun either.

I worked in customer service for about 10 years and there are just some people there is no pleasing. In fact, some of them I think deliberately pick on staff because they are pissed off with something completely unrelated and just want to take it out on someone who they feel they can.

As a customer now, I realise the best way to get great service is to be polite. The best way to deal with crap customer service is to shop elsewhere.

Lying to cover their tracks. Local car broker stating he would contact me on Tuesday arvo. I waited for his call as arranged for a period of 1 hour. The phone did not ring as he suggested. He then contacted me today, stating that he rang me several times yesterday but unable to reach me. I check the mobile and there were no missed calls in the call register. I would preferred that he be honest and confess that he forgot rather than telling fibs. He just lost a deal.

While I blame the parents or adult driving the car for not telling kids to have their seatbelt on, when it comes to an adult not wearing a seatbelt and thereby suffering severe injuries for it, I call it 'natural selection'.
