I like your style....thought you would send me on a holiday for stirring, but good to see you still have a sense of humour. I guess we will always come across people who shit us (try living in Sydney), but if we lose our sense of humour, then we become worse than them.

People that sit on 20 - 30 kms/hr under the speed limit and it's ok for them to do that but if you go 5 kms/hr over you get booked. :x Tailgaters also tick me off!

These must be the same people I get stuck behind on the highway but manage to get to the 120 km/hr on the long straights and overtaking lanes.
It's all good they get back down to the 70-80 after the straight.
The other people on the highway that frustrate the hell out of me are those who hate coming second. They insist of overtaking on the blind corners just to sit 5 km slower than what you just had the cruise control set on. You know if you pass them it will just be on again.

Booked for being 5km over is a bit harsh. You must be travelling more than that before you spotted the radar or cop car and started to slow down. What's the circumstances? Are you in a school zone, going down hill or have bigger tires but have not adjusted the speedo?

I agree that tailgaters are annoying unfortunately 95% of motorist does it, they just don't realised it until it's too late.

I believe it is 10% tolerance in Qld and most other states.
Victoria is only 5%. So 106 in a 100 zone is a fine. 105 would be a warning.

I can assure you (my bank balance and demerit points) that you will be booked for doing 5kms/hr over the limit. My gripe isn't about being booked for exceding the speed limit as it really is illegal - my stupidity for doing so. But more to the point that those people that constantly sit on 70 and 80kms/hr on the highways are more of a danger than someone doing 105 in a 100 zone. I work in and around the Bowen Basin and from the run of accidents along the Nebo Hwy and Beef Rd (Fitzroy Development Rd) if you speed you will be booked.

The fine was out west as stated in the post above this one. People who speed in School zones should be fined heavily, imo. I don't have a family or kids in school, but I just find it irresponsible to speed through these zones when there are kids about who will dart in and around cars without even knowing it.

okay, I am sorry, no, really, really sorry, cause I will upset some people out there, but the story on Today Tonight, tonight about the Victorian family with 15 kids crying foul really irks me. Here they are getting over $200k pa in grants, provided with public housing and a career all at the expense of the tax payer and then have the audacity to complain because there is no house big enough to accommodate all of them!!! Gee, it must have been the government that impregnated her. Well we all know they're knobs.....

What about some responsibility as a parent, did you not think of that before opening your legs?

                            Please, Give me a break!!
Ahhh, some people make me angry.

The thing that concerns me Prado BB is the fact that the Govt. will support her now for ages, then when she goes to retire, where is her super. Oh oh looks like the Govt./us tax payers will have to support her then too.
                              Now that ticks me off.

 Watching mates buy those cheap versions of Warn winches off Ebay and not having a drama, so I decide to buy one as well thinking what could possibly go wrong, its under warranty and water and dust proof. Well I manage to get myself a dud didnt I. Well it was working fine at the start but then we washed the car and it stopped working. We thought it was the control box as it was full of water so we sent that off under warranty. $30 postage each way it was for them to tell us it was fine. Well we decided to look in the motor, and it was full of water so we cleaned it out and dried it out and it started working again. Well about 2 weeks later it decided to bucket down on my way home from work and what do you know.... the stupid winch packed up again. So we decided to send it off to QLD for fixing or replacing. Cost me $70 postage. Then today I get the following email: "Hi Bianca,

The winch is working and the postage would be $84.89

However you have broken the insulation with one bolt probably by assembling it. That's not under warranty. We can repair it for $60 if you like.

Let us know please how would you like to pay.

                                Best Regards"

No explaination as to why its filling up with water, they just want more money. And there wasnt even a bolt broken anyway. So we rang them to speak to the technician but they refused to put us thru as apparently he wasnt there but we could email him if we liked..... Arghhhhhh now I dont know what to do! I paid $415 for the winch to begin with, plus postage which came to just under $500 and now its costing me to send back and forth for something that is a warranty problem and not caused by me! Ahhhh what to do, what to do! :?
