Get back into town after going through all the heartache of the last two weeks, just getting the house here sorted out and looking forward to having a bit of a relax at my wifes work function tonight. My wife answers the phone at mid day and I have to fill in on night shift tonight. Not happy Jan! My wife could tear the spots of a leopard at the moment. I had no idea that I had been rostered for support fill in this weekend as I am not due back at work till Monday. Bugger!

Got given a free pass to a corporate box at the V8 Supercar races at Homebush Olympic Park this weekend, but I was in such a hurry to get away from work on Friday afternoon that I left it in my desk drawer :x
Tried to find someone who could open up the place for me yesterday but I didn't have their numbers and they weren't in the phone book.
Then, I walk out to the front door, and there are 2 Jehovah Witnesses standing there beaming at me as they try to tell me "The Truth" Well, they back peddled at a hundred miles an hour out my driveway, with a very clear understanding of what I thought of them, to regroup across the road with the others, and find a more amiable target.

Nothing makes me more angry then 90% of these P Plate idiots. Fair enough there is the odd decent P Plater out there, but everyone I have seen lately has been a complete w####r.

Working 14hrs and picking up an indian curry on the way home, to get home and find its friggin vegetarian and tofu, not my fav butter chicken :evil:
After throwing expletives around the kitchen, i look at the darling bride and say 'do i look like the kind of bloke who eats tofu???????!!!!!!!! and she gives me her best 'do i look like i give a rats, just shut up and eat' look :lol:

BLOODY KIDS!

Having my 18 yr old son turn up at home with my old Prado covered in rock hard mud. He took his cousin out for a spin and found some dirt to play in. That was a couple of weeks ago.

It's baked in the WA heat and the undercarriage and engine bay are chockers with the hard stuff. Oh, and he ripped off the back mud-flaps.

After his pathetic effort at the car wash I took to it with the high pressure cleaner and took a couple of hours to get rid of the mess.

Now I'm going to sell it because he won't look after it. Besides I have my 09 baby and no longer need the 98.

Yeah, I have a tick off. When your hitting your mid 50,s and people think your having a crisis,because my wife and myself enjoy camping and 4x4 driving .Must be trying to recapture there youth they say,yeah right.Because we both enjoy the gym and have been going for years ( before it was popular ) same thing. :? We have over the past 3 years we have put together a C.T .and the prado, so we can head of when ever we feel the urge.They seem to forget we have been camping and 4x4ing for 35 years.It,s just we,ve done a full circle,kids finished uni working = less work more play for Mr& Mrs tinkera. . If Iam having a crisis I hope the cure is a long holiday on the road :lol: :lol: CHEERS TINKERA.

What annoys me is after 4WDing for a good 15 years and not having had one puncture off road, I get two (on road) in two days. The second of which completely staked the sidewall of a relatively new Micket T ATZ

Jumping on a plane (Fokker 50) at work and flying for 1.5hrs next to one of my good mates who happens to be a 6foot 4inch giant and weighs in at around 150kg. Looking around the cabin and seeing a spare seat on the otherside of the plane and being told we cannot move "for weight and balance purposes". Strewth, the plane was really heavy on our side and I would have thought it would have been better to even it out a bit more! Copped a flogging from all of our other mates on the plane seeing us two squished up together. It would have to me the most sqashed I have ever been in a plane. At least the flight to Sydney was empty and I had a whole row to myself.

Glad to be home again though

Mate I know how you feel. It's not the same but similar. Our car had a slow leak in one of the back tyres. Took it to the tyre place and had it checked out. Well, between the two rear tyres Lacey had managed to pick-up a grand total of 6 puncture repairs at once. Not bad seeing as I had the last puncture on the back tyre fixed 4 days earlier.
