was driving down the freeway at jesmond at 12.30 today when high school kids decided to chuck a glass bottle at me when i was doing 90km/h, lucky i saw them throw it off the overpass, and changed lanes and it sailed over the top of the prado, i drove like a man posessed to find these little dickheads but the prado is no ferrari, so i missed them, asked a few people from out the front of the local high school which is 200m from the overpass and no one saw anything. i rang th local police to let them no but there is not much they can do, lucky i didnt get hold of the little pricks.  samo

Damn Samo, I am happy that you managed to avoid the bottle. That could have been a really nasty accident in the offing. What makes people do this kind of thing? :x

Damn Chippy, lucky for you that you re-inforced that mail box otherwise it may have been curtains for the GTG if they had smashed into your Prado. I reckon this is every parents nightmare, their kid being egged on or trying to impress their mates and the next thing there is a knock on the door at 2 am, "Sorry to have to infom you of this but your son/daughter has been killed in a car accident." Looks like these kids were lucky this time, I hope they learn from the experience.

            WTF!

A gas bottle at 90! They might as well have lobbed a Mini Cooper down at you, because at that speed it'd be about the same impact.
Wish you caught them mate, because I reckon it'd be the last time they tried that sh!t....

            Glad you dodged it alright.

Speed reading lets me down again. I'd run with the gas bottle though, that's the way my fishing stories tend to go as well ops:
Have I told you guys about the 40 tonne snapper I caught one time......

The lowlife scum who positioned four roofing nails so that all the tyres would go flat as the Prado was driven out of a carpark this afternoon. Wife managed to get about 50m before the first tyre went flat, then within a few metres she was on the rims. Then she had to get out of the traffic to pull up safely. Looks like I will be changing the Coopers a little earlier than expected. At least the tyres held air (sort of) so having the the bluetongue on board meant I could get the car home with only one pit stop for more air. The Tyredogs weren't much help initially but they let me monitor the tyres going down so I could time a stop at a service station.

Will check the damage tomorrow but as the tyres have been driven on while flat I guess they are land fill now.

it has to make you wonder why brainless dickheads do stuff like this, this stuff really gives me the craps, a different incident happened to me a few years ago, my car was parked out the front of my parents house one night and i came out in the morning and found some nice size 12 foot prints on the boot ,roof and bonnet of my commodore, and surrounding the footprints were some nice bloody dents, so $2000 later they were all fixed up, but it just makes ya wonder what makes dickheads function this way. cheers samo

When you put something down... do something else... and then try to find the thing you previously set down and not be able to find it... despite backtracking your steps, turning everything upside down (twice) and asking if everyone else in the house if they saw where you placed it only to receive blank looks all 'round.
