what about when women say that men can't multi task. when was the last time you saw one push the clutch in , blinker on , look mirror , external mirror , shift gear , look over shoulder, change lanes ,all at once . never . oh and men dont multi task because they like to do at least one thing properly and not completely f*#k 4 different things at once . we can't have a smoke alarm in our house . someone can't cook and watch tv at the same time.

when i called up telstra the other day to cancel foxtel and the operator on the other end says would you like a try T box. i say WTF thats why im cancelling foxtel cause im sick of paying 100 per month for stuff all, why whould i want 1 of them. grrrrr

Speaking of Telstra,

Yesterday I rang them to give me the free upgrade from 12 Gb to 50 Gb they had offered. The letter I got last October said they would upgrade it automatically at some future date or I could do it on the net immediately free of charge.

Well, since nothing has happened yet, and my nephew added his use to my two sons in their 20's we were using our limit in a week. I logged on to upgrade. The page said I would need to phone as I was on a package and they didn't want to lose my package discount.

The first phone call, I was on hold for 25 minutes , and then dropped onto a survey asking me to rate their response. Well that was an easy survey.
Second call, I got through the voice recognition etc again and actually spoke to a voice within only 4 minutes. They couldn't help me and transferred me to a supervisor who said they have withdrawn the offer. I hit the roof and said I would change to Optus.

Looked up the Optus site and discovered that for just $7 per month extra I get 120 Gb and phone free, local calls, and cheaper mobile and overseas calls. Needless to say I have signed up and am unlikely to ever sign up with Telstra again. I don't think they really know what customer service is all about. - grrr again

I can relate to that, a little tip, when you ring just say "consultant, consultant, consultant" and you bypass the automated voice BS.
Then ask for their employee number so you can refer back in future to who you were talking with. I've found it amazing how the "service" improves when they realise you are actually making notes etc.
Although now I just say check my file you obviously have on screen, and then get bumped straight to a supervisor aaahh the fun of it lol

What has my goat at the moment is commerical TV. They have dug up another load of crap sandwich TV including "Master Chef" and "Dancing with the Stars" (oh spare me). Channel 9 has killed my love of "Top Gear" by slamming in at us many times a week. "Top Gear", for me, now sits at the same depths of the barrel that CSLie and all of those other crap Yanky cop shows are at. I'm just waiting for Channel 9 to bring back Darryl Summers yet again with the same old boring rot.

It is unfortunate that this has happened and most of the time would prefere to turn the telly off.
