Sounds kinda familar to my story, many years ago in another lifetime we had a kiln burner (cement works) that was worse than useless and regularly set the conveyor belts on fire due to not watching clinker temps etc, anyway after numerous $20k belts replacements (remember this was in the sixties) they decided to make this person the foreman so he could sit in the office during the shift and not operate any equipment thus reducing the r&m costs considerably. Smart managers back then when i think about it!Comment

Fair dinkum, I reckon they must power their internet service by a monkey on a treadmill. I must have spent at least 5 hours on the phone to them in the last week and its still stuffed, took 10 minutes just to download the forum page on PP. Mind you thats an improvement on earlier on in the week when it didn't work at all for 2 days, and they were telling me they should be able to fix it in a week or so until I screamed loud enough and finally got someone who could speak English and actually looked for the issue, 5 minutes later it was working again, abliet slow as a wet week.
I might have to take up drinking!
