Family and friends who think they are trying to be helpful!

We have bought a new house and we are cleaning out our own house in prep to make it into a rental so we decided that we will have a garage sale tomorrow.

I arrive at work today to find our company ute loaded with items to sell at the garage sale!!! My father in law and a friend thought they would give us extra items to sell at it to make some more money (we must look like we need it, lol).

The whole point of a garage sale is to get rid of the extra crap, not bring in more!!! Now I have to take time out of my day to take it home... And if it does not sell it move it, return it or dump it!!!!!!

I hope they are not offended when I sell it all for 20 cents!

Yes well, early on I thought I'd like to have a few green lights, it looks a bit more funky than nothing.
Thankx to all that have given to me, mainly because I feel better if I know I have been able to help.
I do spread some around also, but there a a few people who only take it & not give it no fun really.
I always sign off on it. Only ever gave one negative, that was a long time ago & payback
Recently I received a bad one, by someone too soft to sign off on it, no reason why either????
No point wasting more than a second on anything negative, so hope they enjoyed it.
A bit silly really, if anyone signed off on a genuine negative, then they would just get one back, because most people can't take critics.
Anyway, I got more genuine positive rep in the shortest time. So I win
I think there should be a separate red line next to it, extra funky.
We should be able to look up who gave rep, good or bad & why.
Anyway, now good reps been thrashed, it doesn't really mean much, so what gadget is here to play with next?

What ticks me off is the rep system, in particular the fact that you can leave rep, good, bad or indifferent, anonymously. Let me first of all say that I don't care at all for rep, in fact anyone who's been here long enough to remember the upgrade that introduced rep, my signature specifically said "No rep please, I wish to remain an unknown quantity".

If you want to leave me any rep, do so with your username or don't bother. Please quote or PM me if you feel the need to vent. When someone leaves me rep anonymously, accusing me of somehow having something to do do with the departure of a prominent PP member, I take exception to this, and have considered leaving this forum and telling you all to get stuffed as a result! I won't be missed.

As far as the SWMBO thread is concerned, I believe it is totally appropriate, being in the campfire section of the forum. It has been suggested by D4D, that this should only be on a FB page, since I do not subscribe to FB, that is not an option until hell freezes over.
