  • Do we have any graphic artists on the forum?

    Hi All,

This is an open request to all forum members.

Are you a graphic artist? Would you like to design an emblem for the 2009 Get Together In The Red Centre? Well here is your opportunity to shine.

Basically I need an emblem designed by a Pradopoint member, you do not need to be attending the GTG to participate. The essential criteria for inclusion must be:

    1. The date span of the event - 4th to the 11th of July 2009.
    2. Must name the camp ground locations which are:
    - Ross River Resort, Alice Springs, Glen Helen Resort, Kings Canyon, Ayres Rock Resort.
    3. Must display Pradpoint.com

The rest is up to our imagination, please send all emblems to pradopointgtg2009(nospam)@gmail.com just remove the (nospam) from that address as I do not want the gtg email address bombarded with spam.

The selected design will be displayed on the GTG website.

    Cheers

    Mav

I have been messing around on a couple of emblem design sites and came up with this:

It is okay but the site that I used to create it does not allow original artwork to be used as a background, so it rules this one out but I thought I would list it to give you all some ideas.

If it helps I can turn photos into graphics....

Can make them even more simple (Less shading, more of a line drawing) for printing.

I'll ask a guy at work who is allways playing with this stuff.
Him being in the computer side of printing helps..
Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.
