Nice Jewfish there... mate of samo

They're a beach fish is that right??
Tried my hand at beach fishing last school holidays over at Stradbroke Island and when my brother birds nested the Alvey I called it a day ops:

Best I can show at the moment is an old shot (about 2 yrs old now ) of a snapper caught 37k's east of Mooloolaba.

The FIL has since sold that boat so we haven't been able to wet the line off shore for some time now
    Cheers, Leon

Should get down to the spit or Tullebudgera and have a go off the rock walls... looks like it might be a while b4 we get back out on a boat.

Couple of Mangrove Jack I caught when lure casting near home recently. We had no esky or ice so used the black tub to swim them till later. In the end the tub had a few of them swimming together. aThe smallest was just legal.

I always fail to take a camera with me when I go fishing. Well I deliberately don't take one cause I would hate for my camera to get fish guts all over it.

Caught quite a lot of nice size Mahi Mahi off Port Stephens around the fish traps and super huge Leather Jackets. Some really cracker Jewies at a place about 1 km off Stockton Beach

I like to do charter fishing cause generally everything is supplied and I just have to turn up at a designated time and place. No worrying about tackle bait etc or the expense of owning a large vessel.
