Off to look at wildflowers at Eneabba and Perenjori in WA. Close shave with the Blackwolf tent only arriving this week with Sat morning pickup! Dosing up on antihistamine tablets right now as usually I don't mix well with pollen. Dusting off all the camping gear which doesn't get used as much as I'd like. Hopefully some decent pics will come out of it. Some of those best spots need a little 4WD action I'm told........ 8)

I wish it was a long weekend up here, but the Bruisers are going to Green Ridge State Forest to clean up trash along the ravine next to the trails. We do it twice a year and we are pulling up tyres from Cliff Rd. that have whitewalls, so they have been there a while.

The back grass needs a slash, but it is always more fun to burn, but I think we need a permit now, so better ask the local firery's if they want a BBQ training day
"Ooops I just deleted the internet, lucky I was able to recover 99.7% of it out of the bin"
I am off to Shark Bay with the Rossmoyne SHS Bushranger unit to do volunteer work for the Department of Environment and Conservation.
The group coordinator asked the kids if they knew anyone who had a 4wd and my kids promptly put there hand up and told her that I had one. Dont know if I will complete the 9 hour drive without going insane with 5 kids in the car and another 8 following behing in the bus!!!!

"When cooking on a camp fire it must be cool enough to cook on so it needs to burn down to coals, at least in parts. It is customary to drink beer while waiting for the fire to cool down.
I recommend starting with a very big fire"-Vince.
