roof top tent

Hello to all members, my enquirey is about wind noise with roof top tent. I am looking at buying a tent imported from South Africia,called the Columbus, any one using one of these your experiances please. It is just for a quick bed when travelling.

Are you fitting it on the standard roof rails with load bars?
We have a Hannibal roof top tent fitted on a Hannibal aluminium roof rack.
Normally a roof rack will create some extra wind noise, not the tent.

Check also www.landcruiserclub.co.za, they have more experience with roof top tents anyway.
