      Just as a by the by, why is it that the location box is not made a mandatory box on the profile, that way any new members would have to fill in their location before proceeding with the registration process?

        Maybe there is an easy way to do this or maybe this can be added to the list of requests...

        Sometimes I want to cross-reference another post. Figuring out the URL for a specific post (whilst possible) is not trivial. I have seen other BB communities where every post contains a direct URL, which can be easily copied and pasted.

        To give you an example, here is a post in the DTV forum. Notice in the top-right-hand corner, there is a URL that says "Post #6.

        Any chance this can be enabled on PradoPoint?

                Hopefully.. We have to look at the software version and if it can do this. Aaron will need to set this up I feel as I havent been able to yet see it in the admin section.

                We are also looking at adding to the location section before you can join. We will also probably then purge all users so they have to log in and add their location, that solves that issue.

                    Well done Chippy! All those 3000+ posts have gotta be rewarded for sure.

                    I'm no expert with forums, and this question may sound obvious to some but...

                    On the main pages there's so many different types of icons next to the threads... It would be good if there was some sort of "icons explained" thread for us non experts, is this possible? Or even a tech thread on all the new features of the new software? I know this would be a bitch of a thread to work on but would be helpful for some.
