Monday 40, Tuesday 43, Wednesday 45................and the night time temperature is set to get down to a balmy 26. And that's just for us here in Kalgoorlie.
You know it's hot when the EGT is showing 51, and the engine hasn't run for 2 days.Dave

HOT HOT HOT!!!
Hope our Taswegian PP'ers are safe and well, and not under thread from those fires. To everyone else, be interesting to see all the 'outside temperature' readings on your Prados. I reckon there might be a few record readings today.
Keep cool everyone. Today's not the day to be stuck in the sun.[B][SIZE=4]ntp

I was in Leonora today, officially Australia's hot spot with 49. The bowser temp at the local servo was hovering around 54 in the shade. The aircon in my Colorado was struggling. I put some white coreflyte across the side windows to block out a little bit of the heat.Dave

Had 45 degrees on the temp gauge on Friday in Sydney.
The Scanguage read 60 degrees inlet air temp while stopped at the lights and the water temp went to 95 degrees...burnt my leg on the steel rock sliders when getting out of the car.....
So I had to sit inside the house in front of the air con and drink a cold beer.Sold the Prado. Now FJ Cruiser

We've got cyclonic/monsoonal activity up north and all these idiots are still heading out into the bush to go fishing, camping etc and then they get bogged due to the floods. Another rescued 4Wdriver near Keep River. Checking and heeding weather warnings obviously not high on a top-enders list of priorities: beer check, steak check, rods check, bait check, more beer check........Dave

Hmm unreal today. The vestiges of a cyclone. Wind and buckets of rain. Trees down that have seen 40 or 50 summers. Wild. And no alternating current. Probably should dust off the generator since no electricity = no water either. Fuel is in the shed. Shed is 50m away. It is wet in between. Maybe not.My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic
