Sounds good, what warranty is he providing, one on the complete system or the OME one for each individual component ?

Got to agree with his Quad Core logic, ATM there are only a few graphics/production programs and a hand full of games that can fully utilize all four. However, this should increase in the next few years. If you presently use any of these programs all four chips do make a hellofa difference.

Do you need 2 DVD-RW drives, as only a few very expensive programs can similtaneously burn at acceptable error levels. Might be more cost effective to go one reader one burner. Blueray is nice but is the computer going to be used to play movies?

Check to see if the screen has a multicard reader built in

I would probably go the 4GB Ram (increase in real speed) over the 1TB HDD

Check the upgradeability (spare slots etc) of the system for future upgrades

"Blah Blah Blah .........ect ect ect" this bit is where all the money goes, it might be better to upgrade it to the newer model "bla bla bla ... etc etc etc" :lol: Seriously check around on some of these prices often smaller shops need to charge more for these bits.

I'm looking at your small speakers - looks like a set I'm thinking of getting (logitech V10) Is this correct - and if so - what do you think?

If they are another brand - again - opinions please. I'm just looking for a small set with OK sound (nothing special) that I could use with a notebook.
