Travelling to Newcastle tomorrow from Alice Springs. I am going to be switching the SPOT to its tracking function if anyone is interested in knowing where we are then you can follow our journey via our shared tracking page at:

There will be nothing to see until I activate the SPOT tomorrow as we are leaving and then it should give updates every 10 minutes or so.

Well as you can see we made it and I forgot to turn the Spot off overnight. ops:

Yep we stayed at the Standpipe and it was very very quiet there, hardly a sole staying there except for us.

Filled up once on the trip over and that was at Pt Augusta, we got to Maitland and decided to fill up as we were on fuel light but scanguage said 10 litres left.

Hey Mav,

Where did you mount the 'Spot' in the Prado to get such consistant readings.

My intial play today is giving sparodic readings. Still, a great toy......

I am using a suction cup mount to fix it to the windscreen on the drivers side, you can get a mount from RAM Mounts to fit it exactly but I am using the Tyre Dog mount that came with my Tyre Dog TPMS
