Hot dawg, top work fellas. Spread the word. Either that or when we cut someone off in the traffic they know where to come to flame us!

Hi Chippy the photos look great. I have watched the vids and it looks like you were all haveing a great time. I will have to show the wife some of the things our truck can do.(she panics a bit)
Now about being short. I have grown up with short jokes all my life. Not all can be taller the 5 foot 4 inches. Just remember mate good things come in small packages.

I bet you cant wait for the adventure to start. A mate of mine has just come back from his 12 month trip and they had their own web site so friends could see what they were up to and to keep in touch. Are you going to do anything like that?

                Have fun

                  Hiya Warby

Got the software loaded and laptop packed, got the extra 250 Gb portable hard drive for the pics, got the map of wireless internet access points to give us upload access. I'm taking over teaching the boys and have negotiated some useful educational programs with their schools - some involving travel bloggs, pic journal and a photo essay of a travel buddy (for the youngest).

Have set up my own domain name and website - it's the same one I use to hang all my Pradopoint junk off. I'll still be in communication - it will just be slightly less frequent.

                  Cheers

                                Hey Strahan

I've just contacted a lot of the tourist spots along the route and asked - then stuck a pin in the map. If you don't mind a 3 month wait I can provide you with a map - compiled from numerous touristy spots and fully tested. If you need it straight away I can send you a copy of what I've got - but it's not tested yet.

I reckon it's going to be a mixed bag of wireless stuff and internet cafes.

There's also a couple of useful wireless internet directories HERE and HERE.

Quite a few of the places we are staying at, across the top of WA, Darwin and all down the Qld coast have wireless access. So do most Maccas eateries. NSW and Vic have a heap too. Check out the map on the first link for a state by state listing - some a 'pay to use' and some are free.

                                Cheers
