    I saw a good one over the weekend for all those people out there that buy VL commodores... YBYAVL (why buy a VL)

        There is a guy here at work who drives a gold Nissan 350Z and his number plate is MYGOLDZ, I was driving behind him yesterday coming to work and thought, hmm I could get something similar for my Prado. But then I thought, naah MYGOLDP might not have the same appeal. :lol: :lol:

          I guess our club is getting the end all, be all wanker plates.

          Most of out members are in Maryland, so we are arranging to get custom FJ Bruiser tags.

                  The thanks go out to Lacey who very casually picked it out, and translated it into my simpleton language.

                  Yes, good to be back in civilisation, albeit only a week. As my location says you can see I now work in (as Lacey says) "a rather luminous location". She expects me to come home glowing for some reason! Must say though that the accommodation is much nicer there than at Prominent Hill as we have these funny tall green coloured things growing out of the ground called trees and actual grass and not astroturf.

                      Family just bought me personalised plates to celebrate my 50th birthday.

                      "TADS"

                      It's my nickname and derived from my surname. Mrs says now you can find your car in the carpark. I said, it's easy, I just look for the meanest, tallest, shiniest, non-white, non-stock, non-mining, non-mummies taxi, non-shopping trolley Prado in the carpark.

                      I really wanted "BUSHBASHR". That's my technique when foraging off-road looking for a good place to prospect or set-up camp. But my Mrs reckons it's too aggressive!

                      "UPTHEGUTS" was my next choice - a term I regulary used whilst in the regular army many years ago.

                              My last name is only 3 long so it fits nicely with the 887 on my plates

                              Theres a sheila with a fluro pink mica paintjob lowered Rodeo ute
                              with the plate SPRKLZ "sparkles" getting round Gosford way.

                              I haven't seen the "FAT120" plates yet but apparently they are taken
