HELP!!! Adelaide folk I need a good balancer.

I have been pulling my hair out trying to get a good balance job done on the MTZ's. I tried Bob Jane at Marion but we went down the freeway out to Monarto today and the rig was shaking itself apart. The same occured when I had them fitted in Alice the trip down was awful with the warbling and shaking. Can someone in Adelaide direct me to a place that can actually do a good balance job please????

Mine were done by City Discount Tyres on Research Road, Pooraka.

Two rotations and 13k later and no issues...

Thanks Mick, I am starting to think that I may have a crook tyre or two as they are as noisy as hell and really get up a warbling whine from about 70 km/h

No worries, Let me know if you need their phone number, I have their card at work.

You can start to hear mine from about 70km/h onwards. They are at their worst at around 85-95km/h. Not loud as such, but at a pitch that is quite intrusive/annoying to some.
Having said that I am still relatively happy with mine. Not as loud as I was expecting at all.

Hopefully a good balance will see you right.

If you get stuck , let me know. My mate has a portable system (specialises in motorsports) but is based out at hope Valley. He does a great job and will spend some time with you if need be.

Hi Paul,

Did you get this sorted out? Was it a balance/alignment issue or do you have a dodgy tyre? If this is still occuring then maybe try and catch up with Mick or TP when you are down next (I believe you are heading back to Alice in the morning) and see what theirs sound like at similar speeds. I guess yoiu wont have your car down next weekend?

No, I did not get the car back till late on Friday afternoon which was too late to get anything done. I would love the opportunity to hear somebody elses Prado with MTZ's fitted as driving back today I am almost convinced it is a faulty tyre or tyres, possibly out of round tyres. I cannot believe that others would be putting up with this kind of response as it just does not seem normal to me and I am sure there would be more people complaining in forums about them if this were the norm.
