Interesting, but if the genius had read his owners book, he'd be aware that the side and curtain (and front) airbags aren't designed to be deployed as a result of a rear-collision or a roll-over. Airbags also aren't designed to deploy in low-speed accidents which he states this was (<40kmh). I'm not sure about the Prado, but I would imagine that it's similar to the Liberty I used to have in which the airbags don't deploy at less than 30kmh.
So really what's he complaining about? Everything seems to have worked as designed, and looking at the photos it seems the crash structure stood up remarkably well, it could even be the case that he suffered less injuries from the accident because the airbags didn't deploy.White 2008 Prado GX D4D Auto w/ Option Pack 2 + a few additions... -

And anyway, this is a car designed for driving in the sand and mud, not the suburbs.
Not to mention there are warnings in several places about the high COG.

Wow!.... what a lot of bleating. He suffers a rollover and now has sour grapes about it. It amazes me how people suffer an accident like this and then always look for someone to blame. Can't people just accept that accidents happen? Sometimes it's nobody's fault, it just happened. I suppose he's got a point where he says that Toyota didn't really want to talk to him after the accident, explaining why the airbags didn't deploy. But then again, if Toyota talked to every person who had an accident in one of their cars they'd be doing it constantly.

Haha. a few people have been asking leading questions in the comments along the lines of things that have been posted here.
By the sound of it, he didn't try and control the skid (he may not have been able to anyway) but perhaps a more experienced driver may have escaped the rollover.
