  • Proper titles of the corners

Does anyone know how the corners are supposed to be titled?
My trip will take in Cameron corner, Haddon corner and Poepell corner. The vast majority of places ive checked have it as i have just typed. Some however, have Cameron's, Haddon's and Poepell's.

I originally thought this was how it was supposed to be because, excuse me if im wrong but Augustus Poepell marked Poepell corner, should that not make it Poepell's corner? I think this is primary school grammar, maybe there is a teacher who can tell me right or wrong?? ops:

Re: Proper titles of the corners

Cameron corner, Haddon corner and Poepell corner
These are correct.. they are place names. (Only one L and two Ps in Poeppel I think though :?: )

Using an apostophe would denote ownership/possession.
