Re: 4WD Monthly Page 149
I am assuming you are talking about the high lift on page 149 of issue 138, that is bloody ridiculous!!! I am by no means an expert on photoshop, but perhaps someone who knows more might be able to pick where the car was actually being supported by when the pick was taken. Otherwise if the pic is genuine then it is a really big stuff up on 4WD actions part to print the image showing something so dangerous.

I don't think it's PS'd...
Look at the accompanying caption... "some jobs have the potential to cause damage - SO PAY ATTENTION!"
I suspect they're pointing out the fact that the wrong part of the hi-lift is supporting the car.Cheers, Leon

Re: 4WD Monthly Page 149
I think they have jacked up the vehicle, let the vehicle back down and the axle is sitting on the wheel and the jack is just leaning against the car.Rob

Re: 4WD Monthly Page 149
It's obviously a set-up.
The car clearly has far too many windows which are intact and also has too many wheel studs remaining.Dave

Re: 4WD Monthly Page 149
looks to me like the tyre on the ground is supporting the leaf springs. The jack seems to be leaning against the car or slightly wedged on the wrong part of the jack. Hard to tell but still dangerous really.2007 GLX Petrol, Soverign Bar, IPF Spotties, 40 ltr Engel,Twin Rear DVD, GME 3100, Red Arc Dual Battery System,

The jack is new. It's obviously been stolen or fell off the roof of a passing Nissan Patrol.Dave
