These days its athletics and mainly pole vault, I coach and vault myself.
Currently coaching about 20 athletes of varying levels and ages. Also a silly decathlete when I get the chance.
Photography is another hobby along with astronomy when I get the time and the moon is hiding.

The Prado has made getting out with the camper trailer much easier and helps find a few more fly fishing spots.
I was a keen bike rider before I had an ITB op and was able to run again. Did a lot of long distance audax rides.
Was also a Leader in Scouts for 20years and rock climbing instructor.Chris220220 Finally a Prado owner

Hi Ghost
It sure does. I ran the Maxxis crossmark lust and igniter lust they are a bit heavy but they seam to hold up better so have put them straight on the Pivot. Mid Jan is not far away then you'll be back out on the trails.2008 Prado GXL D4D Auto Silver, 265/70x17 Mickythompson ATZ 4 ribs, ARB delux Bar Avenger Mako 9500 winch, TJM XGS Gold suspension, Poly airs, Safari Snorkel, Dual Battery system, Voltage Booster, Lightforce XGT lights, GME TX3100 UHF,ARB CKMA12 Compressor, ENZD special quad breather kit,Outback Draw system 1/2 Cargo Barrier,Kaymar duel wheel carrier,AJ120 Sliders, Taipan XP Exhaust, Twin E Lockers, Foxwing, Pioneer Platform.

Thanks juc, yea got a doc app today, should get my brace on and get rid of the back slab cast for good, I'm a fan of giant bikes, had a trek before but wasn't ever really happy with it, made the mistake of riding a mates 2013 giant trance x0 29r and fell in love with it. Was going to buy one but being vertically challenged the bike guys recommend the 2014 trance x1 with the new 27.5 wheels plus the guys on the coast done an awesome deal. Love the dropper seat post makes doing the downhill type runs easy being able to drop that seat at a press. Keen to give my new maxxis wheels a run. Wanted to run tubless, have had a fair few pinch flats with the nobbly nics running tubes, they are a great grippy tyre but the sidewalks are real thin.Originally posted by juc33_prado View Postouchies! hope it all heals well.

It's great to see some other mountain bikers on here.
I've been riding for years. Doing longer races now, solo 24s. I just came 5th overall in the jetblack 24 a few weeks ago.
I'm on a carbon specialized epic 29er with carbon roval wheels. I love it more than the prado![FONT="Georgia"]2012 graphite GXL d4d manual.

There are some very nice MTB's here. I went from the 29er to the 27.5 Pivot being a skinny runt 65kg wet I found the 29er harder in the single trail to turn fast. So I'm looking forwed to the 27.5 when it gets here should turn in quicker.2008 Prado GXL D4D Auto Silver, 265/70x17 Mickythompson ATZ 4 ribs, ARB delux Bar Avenger Mako 9500 winch, TJM XGS Gold suspension, Poly airs, Safari Snorkel, Dual Battery system, Voltage Booster, Lightforce XGT lights, GME TX3100 UHF,ARB CKMA12 Compressor, ENZD special quad breather kit,Outback Draw system 1/2 Cargo Barrier,Kaymar duel wheel carrier,AJ120 Sliders, Taipan XP Exhaust, Twin E Lockers, Foxwing, Pioneer Platform.

Hi Ghost
I run Stan's kit on the old one and plan to put the goo in the new bike as the rims are tubeless. The Stan's goo is the go saved me a few times. But you have to change it every 3-4 months as it goes into a ball.2008 Prado GXL D4D Auto Silver, 265/70x17 Mickythompson ATZ 4 ribs, ARB delux Bar Avenger Mako 9500 winch, TJM XGS Gold suspension, Poly airs, Safari Snorkel, Dual Battery system, Voltage Booster, Lightforce XGT lights, GME TX3100 UHF,ARB CKMA12 Compressor, ENZD special quad breather kit,Outback Draw system 1/2 Cargo Barrier,Kaymar duel wheel carrier,AJ120 Sliders, Taipan XP Exhaust, Twin E Lockers, Foxwing, Pioneer Platform.

Yea I've put the Stan's in with the new tyres, sealed up great for a few days but then all of a sudden both tyres were flat, in saying that tho I didn't get to go for a ride to fully get that solution worked around, just installed them pumped them up and bounced the tyre a number of times working around the tyre each time. I've got plenty of the Stan's but if it doesn't seem to work will switch to the tyre goo.Originally posted by wsp View PostHi Ghost

That's a nice bit of hardwear in the X-rays. I'm going in feb to get the meniscus fixed up on both knees then 6-12 weeks of recovery. Then back on the bike better than ever.2008 Prado GXL D4D Auto Silver, 265/70x17 Mickythompson ATZ 4 ribs, ARB delux Bar Avenger Mako 9500 winch, TJM XGS Gold suspension, Poly airs, Safari Snorkel, Dual Battery system, Voltage Booster, Lightforce XGT lights, GME TX3100 UHF,ARB CKMA12 Compressor, ENZD special quad breather kit,Outback Draw system 1/2 Cargo Barrier,Kaymar duel wheel carrier,AJ120 Sliders, Taipan XP Exhaust, Twin E Lockers, Foxwing, Pioneer Platform.

That's the go, geez things are going to be real quiet with you if your getting both knees done at the same time :/, I tell ya, I've been going nuts just having my arm out of action. Can't imagine what it would be like having both your knees worked on at the same time... Feel for you Wayne! But as you say mate. Be back better than ever!
