I still call photography a hobby even though it's been my livelihood for the last 14 years

I've got a couple. Ones woodworking(I've got a good sized workshop) but I haven't had much time for that lately.
The other would be motorbikes.I used to ride trailbikes(XL600,NX650 Dominator,XR400) up until a couple of years ago and have been without a bike since!!
I'm currently on the lookout for a cheapish roadbike to fang around on and use as a ride to work.
Oh and I also surf a bit(bodyboarding) and sail my dinghy(old moth).

My main hobbie is drinking , I do have other "SUB HOBBIES" to accomodate drinking eg fishing , boating , golf , watching sport I tend to leave the drinking after 4WD'ing but have slipped up on that rule a copuple of times ..... WOOPS
I also have another hobby which is visiting local brewrey's and vinyards - are these hobbies ????

I have a few others.

Sailing - I have a 5m trailer sailer that I don't get in the water often enough.
SCUBA diving - have done a bit recently on a trip to Bali and now planning a trip to the Phillipines for early next year. Lived in NQ for a long time and so went to the reef regularly. Water around Perth tends to be a bit cold (must be getting old!!!). This is another hobby that I did as a job to some extent doing some comercial diving in my younger days. Bit old for that stunt now. Also did a lot of flying as aprivate pilot- again my job paid for lots of that but now find it to expensive as a hobby.

As far as photography is concerned I am not in the league of some here, but learning. just purchased a Nikon D5000 so i can't blame the gear any more.

I know this might sound a bit sad but one of my other hobbies would have to include in work.



Although not a brilliant photo, these two ships have a combined length of close to 600m, have a closing speed of about 45km/hr, weigh about 120,000 tonne, the value of the ships and cargo is close to 200 mill, and are passing only 150 metres apart within in the confines of botany bay. I was the pilot on the Mearsk ship (the blue one) and mate of mine is the pilot on the one with the cranes.
