no doubt about it , my other hobby is a ski boat .... 16ft camero riva ' power from 308, dog clutch, old school but sweet boat

, but the last 18mths have been consumed outside of work/family, with the build up of a off road buggy powered by a honda VF750
99.9% finished , just sorting out teething problems... this is my second love.. very proud of this hand built, customed design ( my own ) buggy ... butane :lol:

:arrow: better make that, 95% finished, as hit a tree last time out and the rear axle just aint the same :roll:

:arrow: started repairing the axle , it aint gunna be cheap.. :roll: gotta put a diff centre into the axle to give some slip...
this will test my backyard mechanical skills

my cbr600rr is my other hobby. i ride it to work, but i enjoy getting out on weekends and doing track days.

I have the usual other hobbies that go with 4WDing - camping, touuring, etc.

I also had golf, ice hockey and diving until my back problems started a few years ago (awaiting permission to even free skate with the kids at present following the fusion, let alone anything else - a return to ice hockey is definitely out forever though :cry: ). Might get back into diving next year........

Decided last year that, after an absence of 30 years, I'd try to take up the keyboards/synths again.

I, for the first time, went shooting last weekend at a shooting range (Springvale).

Was great fun. Using a .22 bolt action rifle at 50m, these were the results I got. The guy in charge was pretty impressed with my effort, so I'm thinking of joining up, getting my license and then an entry level gun. If anyone has any cheap suggestions anywhere in the range of .22 to 3030, I'm all ears. Will be considering second hand too if anyone knows a decent place in melb (inner or eastern suburbs preferred).


First target (used the big one first then moved onto the small ones)



Second target. The squares are 25mm to give you an idea of size. There's 50 bullets in there, but not nearly 50 holes so a fair few must have gone through the existing ones.(Ignore top left shot as I used that to see how accurate the scope was)

O.K., let's see:

Paragliding. Goes well with Prado-ing, as most mountain launches are offroad and/or 4wd, so we Prado-owners are always popular with the MX5 drivers.... (off to Bali flying in a couple of weeks - yeeha!)

Campertrailering (Prado again required - off to Qld/Fraser in 6 weeks - double yeeha!!)

Oh, and of course cycling (for when the weather's no good for flying - transported via Prado...)

Oh yeah, motorcycling (Triumph Sprint) - sorry, Prado has to sulk those weekends

R/C airplanes ("small" ones in the Prado naturally)

International food and wine fact-finding tours........... :mrgreen: (Drive to airport parking in the Prado 8) )

My main hobby would be Scuba Diving. I get out when ever i can, most weekends and after work as well. I've also recently done my Dive Master course, so at the moment, I'm diving for free! Only downside is i have to look after the dive, which doesnt bother me too much.

I have a boat as well, and i love fishing and boating, as well as camping, hunting and shooting, but they go hand in hand with having a 4WD!!

Me and a couple of mates created this beast for a online racing game called Rfactor. I painted the skin and did some textures for the buggy.

The Superbuggy we also created

And we race other type of offroad mods online. Anywhere from 5 to 25 + cars on track from all over the globe. Those Yanks sure know how to offroad race..


And our Bathurst Legends 1969 creation for the game.
