A woman has been run over by a four-wheel drive while sunbaking on a Gold Coast beach.
The woman, believed to be in her 40s, was sunbaking at Surfers Paradise when the vehicle - reported by the Gold Coast Bulletin online to be a Gold Coast City Council maintenance vehicle pulling a trailer - ran over her.
The incident happened near the Q1 building on Trickett Street at about 1.10pm (AEST) on Thursday.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Community Safety said the woman was taken to the Gold Coast Hospital with a wrist fracture
