The Prado is our only car (but there are three motorcycles in the garage). Unfortunately it is somewhat of a shopping trolley at times, I drive the car everyday to work and use it for running around to get the kms for the lease on it, and Jeff commutes on his motorcycle. We take turns driving when we are out playing in the Prado though, he can't think he is getting all the fun!

It would be unkind of me to gloat, Mrs OldGreyGuy is really quite happy with her little Golf and shows no inclination to drive the Prado, so I get it for the daily ride.

Butane8, you sound like you would take your 'tuff' Prado the long way to work and find all the mud and slush you could to learn your driver trainin'. You would probably end up late for work every day... Besides, when would Mrs Butane8 be able to have some fun???
Sounds like you are relegated to the work truck.
You're here for a good time, not a long time... Love my Prado...

put a prado next to a patrol, kia, ford, mitsubishi or holden and it looks heaps 'tuff' as a stock rig, once it gets setup $$ they look 'tuff as nails". at the moment, mine is tuff,
in my eyes anyway, lol , but i'm prado biest, and i wear blinkers
missus is training herself( monday to friday )driving it around the rat race, parkin it etc. i like the bush!

                                Re: Female owner drivers

Interesting topic you’ve started here pearlie.....

Daughter #1 has driven my Prado several times & had no problems; being auto transmission makes it easy. Come to think of it, even my sister has driven the Prado on one occasion, & also no probs…..considering it’s a bit of a step up from her Starlet

Daughter #1 has a Rav4 manual & can drive that easily; have tried to get her & the boyfriend out on a day trip but a bit difficult with her working most weekends.

Hoping to get a trip going to Stockton beach one day & I’ll stick the L plates on the Prado & then both Daughters #1 & 2 can have a go at driving along the beach..........that’ll be interesting...

                                Cheers,

                                Glenn
                                Cheers,
