    All I want for Christmas...

    Okay... here's a thread to make a wish to Santa for that special Xmas gift for yourself or your Prado.

    Maybe the posts might give you some ideas for yourself, or even provide justification to your other half about what to get you (ie see, everyone else is getting one!!!). :mrgreen:

    Me - I'm hoping for a new SPOT messenger or even a hand-held UHF radio.

      OGG, will order mine( deluxe winch, color coded black) this friday and book it in for fitment , my rig gets a suspension upgrade at the same time by tjm.. gold xgs going under it, the standard 50mm lift getting the front springs to take the winch,and dual battery weights(will be on the next budget?) :cry: , and the atz's will be ordered in on friday (will talk free stuff with tjm when i get there)
      it's already chrissy at my place... cant wait

      have talked to ARB 'bout the protection bars to pipe side steps and they dont do prado's , lucky , bending pipe is a hobby of mine, , so my plan is for pipe side steps/sliders with 3mm steel x plate top.
      running the front of the step up over the guards to the bar clamps,,,, what color? :idea: black !!! :roll: had a good look at samo's thread on sliders , and a couple of others noting how much damage is caused by chasing joey thro the bush.. lol.. so to me the steps are a must... all that and maybe a few cb's, two handhelds , and a hard wired unit in the rig will have me stoaked for xmas break

          About 8-16 weeks away with the camper hooked behind me a mate following me with my boat hooked to his vehcile and as far away from the city as possible

                    How did that order go butane8? I'm thinking about dropping into my local ARB distributor on Thursday evening and pulling the trigger on the same bullbar.

                        funds a reality, local guy very helpful... new management... tyre power dapto, set of 5 baja atz's ordered today,in by thurs.

                        a big thankyou to members regarding posts, helped me make a educated discision ... at least i sounded like i knew what i was
                        buying... and very straight on how i expect 'em...fitted .... no more than 100g's of weight , and told him not to put a old batch on it as, its not what i'm pay'n 4.... at $370 a hoop.. "not a problem sir, thanks for letting me know that, when ordering as i can get the right tyres for you....therefore ask and you receive... new tyres :lol: ...

                        ( hope they dont have to make a set especially 4 me )
                        made spacers for the spare today at work :shock:
                        got tyres check :lol:

                        next is the bullbar and lift, funds in my kitty, alot more planning to go, in touch with local mech.(mate) still keen on black bar, xgs shocks, may look into kings a bit more.. before im sold on the whole package.... xmas this thursday arv butane

                            santa left me his sleigh to go to sydney tommorrow and pick up a arb deluxe bar 2nd hand ( gotta love ebay $1075.50 ). sorry if i out bidded any members... very happy butane. merry christmas ho.ho.ho
