    Heading off Tuesday.

    Well on tuesday heading off to half a lap of this great country, first of all going up to Kalgoorlie area to find some GOLD , so hope to spend about 6 weeks up there, then come back to Dunsborough for the oldest sons wedding. Once the wedding is all over head to South Oz for a couple of months, just hanging out to do the Flinders, then up through Alice to the good country. Hope to spend another couple of months in the territory before heading on down to Broome to leave the motorhome at the brother in laws place and then go back to do the Gibb river road before coming back home in October. If you see us on the road say hi, uhf 18 or 40. Here is a pic of our rigs, sorry no Pradopoint stickers...Chris ps Prado now has alloy bar and snorkel.
    96 SWB, fire engine red, turbo,auto,
    50mm king springs, tough dog shocks,
    13mm strut spacer, 17 x8inch wheels incubus poltergeist 17x8
    265x70x17 Kelly TSR, factory sunroof,
    Dual batteries, gme 3220 uhf, turbo timer
    , ipf extreme spots, cibie super oscar spreads converted to HID.
    Factory alloy bar, Safari snorkel,
    Table on rear door, Rear work light
    300watt inverter, high lift jack

    Sorry mate, all the gold is gone from here (Kalgoorlie)!

    I'll be away in Perth 27/2 - 6/3 but back in Kal after that. If you are going to be anywhere specifically (without giving away too much to those gold grabbing Victorians) maybe we can catch up for a brew. I'll bring out my 4500 and have a dig.

      Thanks Dave, we will probably stay a couple of nights in Kal and then head out to Ora Banda as last year we spent a bit of time out there and really enjoyed it, our oldest son works for Paddington and assures me there is still plenty out there although he cant find it, he is currently borrowing my 4000 which i have to get back off him when we come up, Ive put your number in my phone so hopefully can catch up.         My workmate's son picked up a 6.5 oz nugget two weeks ago out "near" Ora Banda.

        Bastard, hadn't been detecting for around 12 months, and he was using dad's 4500!

        We want to torture him so he will tell us where he went. He's just too quick to catch. Might have to get to him while he sleeps!

            About AU$1246 per ounce on the market, don't know if you'd actually get that much for it with fees etc, but gold is gold...
