    Done 170 kph in mine...would ahve gone higher but was rnning out of road...mine is a 120 series ex Japan which comes with the 3.4 litre petrol engine from the series 90....for some reason all cars from Japan have speedometers till only 180kph (even subaru wrx/sti...if it was sold and used in japan speedometer will only be to 180)

      very straight road in emergency situation, 120 man5 GX at the time with with no mods, 2 people in vehicle: 165km/hr. would be interested to know if there's a difference between flared and flareless models.

      I'd love to do similar to the mythbusters thing one day: buy a bomb, get its best speed & economy, bash spherical dents all over it like a golf ball and take it for another run. According to the mythbusters, they coated a vehicle in clay, did this and still got better economy. Can't remember what speeds they were doing.

        Fastest Prado In The World?

        Just went to reset my trip on my GPS before the cops see it :shock: . Don't want to get fined for being 7-times over the speed limit!!!

            all went fine till 190 Kph and then speed limiter is on the car just won't go faster, although i felt it has more to give.
            with AC on , unmodified stock prado with 165000 km on the clock

              Interesting - at 752km/h, you would be travelling approx 208 metres every second. At that speed, in just 31 seconds (your trip computer indicates a total moving time of 11m 31s), you would have travelled around 6.45km. However your total distance travelled is only 7.7km.

              Can you please post your fuel consumption for this too? :shock:

                I had the same thought, 752kms/hr in the Prado has got to knock the fuel consumption around a bit. :lol: :lol: :lol:

                  The discrepancy between the time and distance is probably due to a malfunction in my Flux Capacitor.

                      Its simply explained by the theory of relativity....as the speed increased, time slowed down & the actual distance shrank - relative to the casual observer of course :shock:
