  • Oz Trail Pop up Ensuite

We bought an Oz Trail pop up ensuite at the Maitland camping show yesterday!

This morning I unpacked it to have a look, then tried to follow the enclosed instructions to fold it back up. After 30 mins of much cursing and swearing, the thing was headed for the bin (unfolded)! But after a quick look on the internet with the use of google I came across these instructions.

Although they were not all that much better than the enclosed instructions, at least I was able to fold the dam thing up.

I then had a look on youtube and found this video

Now this made packing up the ensuite a 30 second excercise and saved it from the bin!

    Baaaahahahaha

I read on another forum someone describing what you experienced as akin to "bagging a feral cat". I still laugh about it every time I think about it and now you have made me laugh for a good 10 minutes.

We have one as well, and put it up for the first time at Easter. After much swearing and heated words between us, and laughter and unhelpful advice from our friends, we finally managed to pack it down and into it's bag. We then had the last laugh when one of friends tried to pack his down...he ended up stashing in flattened only between the camper trailer and cover.

I have done that, when we did a cross aus trip we ended up doing that daily.

The worst one I experienced was at Mt Panorama. had a shower in the morning at McPhillamy park, so there is me in clean duds and smelling pretty, only to end up with mud all over me from trying to fold th f*^%ing thing it up....
But when you get it right you go---- how easy is that????

        Good things tho.

Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.
