    What is the perfect height of a bar?

    I am building a bar for my patio.


    What is the perfect height for a bar?
    at the moment it is at 1160mm but i can't work out if i am happy with this. What are your thoughts?

    When I lived in Karratha in 02-03 I found the perfect height for a bar was about ground level...

    Back then the Tambrey centre had a pool you could drink in. Filled in now I think though. The bastards!

    Also just flew back from Bali last night and spent a lot of time at similarly lowered bars... :twisted:

      I think it is a perfect excuse to visit as many pubs as possible and the one you feel comfortable at pull out the tape messure but make sure your there for a long time so you can work out what is the best floor covering to fall asleep on

        Will vary person to person but what I'd go for is a height you can comfortably rest your arms on whilst standing.

          Calling on personal experience, I have found that the perfect height is around 150mm below the surrounding ground level. Thaa way you can shtill slurp the frothe ov da top of da handle whan yous av fallen ovov da bar shtool!

            had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.

              Not too high otherwise it makes it difficult for the skimpy to climb up on!
