  • 4x4 Action Issue 139

    Hi folks!

In the hunt for driving lights for 120, maybe with or without a bar, so looking at anything from 100mm to 225mm. Performance is the key. No point buying crap - especially if it includes spending a grand or so on a bar! I'm keen on the Narva and Lightforce, and maybe the Bosch compact if I run without a bar. What I need is the "Driving Light Torture Test - 37 lights compared" article from Issue 139 of 4x4 Action. I have tried to order a back copy, but it looks like that may be impossible. Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

      Hey Family Guy,

I see you are in Adelaide. I have a copy of it somewhere and a colour photo copier at work. The two seem to be made for each other if you want to read it. I can try and get this done on Monday.

I have it scanned into PDF if anyone is interested. It is 23 pages in quite HiRes (as scanned & emailed to me by another PP'er - thanks) and too big to email individually in one hit.

For fair dealing for purpose of research or study not in contravention of the Copyright Act I have placed it on the Web where it can be downloaded.

PM me if you'd like the link.

        Craig

          Hi Familyguy,
I used the issue to choose my spots. I ended up with the nite stalker HID, They were cheaper than the mag write up and do the biz and as cheap as the bigger halogens. I am in Holden Hill if you want to check them out in the flesh. I couldn't find any locally to look at before i purchased them.
