    Geecee,
Most of the questions that you are asking have been answered before or people have posted their solutions. For UNF installs on a 120 check out the Accessories threads in the 120 section. Troll through the last ten pages and you will find heaps of posts on installing UHF using different techniques and including specific models. The search feature on this site is not the best as it will filter out words three characters long or less so finding UHF will return nothing so you either need to use Google to search OR just manually read through.

Here are a few to get you started
    GME TX4320 Install
    No Holes UHF Install
GME UHF TX 3440 Installation Pictures
    GME 31000 UHF compact
GME TX6200 + Car Kit & aerial installation
    Uniden UH-400SX RM UHF CB
    Uniden UH500SX
    Icom IC-7000 installation
    ...
    And the list goes on.

      Re: Help -Please

Thank you everyone for your help. Is $170.00 a good price for the Tekonsha P3 and can I get it installed for around $100.00 if I install the unit myself and get the electrics done elsewhere?

        Re: Help -Please

170$ for the P3 good...are you goign to run the cables yourself and is the plug already fitted in the rear? How about putting your location on so poeple in your area may be better able to respond to your questions.

I did mention in an earlier reply that I am Bateau Bay on the NSW Central Coast. Thanks for your info.

If you access your User Control Panel info, select the Profile tab and then enter your location in the Location box and then submit this will show up below your Avatar on the right had side. Just helps remind people where you are from and you might find future questions can be answered by people who may live reasonably close to you. Always a good idea to physically met up and have a look through someones rig to get ideas on how to do things..

              Hey Karratha

Not certain how to run the cables myself - dead loss on electrical work but hope to install the unit in the ashtray holder. Yes the plug will fit in the rear.

                Re: Help -Please

Did mine in the ash tray last night. Turned out alright. Drill and small bits and a power rasp on the drill and it worked well. Running the cable to the back and from the front take a little more time and research. There is other information on the web site just have to do some reading. Nipple entry...and radio replace give you most of the information. The other part is if you have time is you start gently pulling panels down the one side and you have access to the back next to the jack and a way forward. The sills are poped up with your fingers and a little pressure. Do some more searching. I did not take any pictures but if I can tonight I will.
