I Leased a low mileage 120 series, 25000km on it when I leased in April 2010, traded 1999 Grande 90 series for it. Lease works really well, just have to keep an eye on distance travelled with 30,000km per annum to do!
    Cheers

Re: 120/150 series own/ lease poll

We are 2 and a half years into a 5 year lease on our '06 120 series, with 15K kms per year. Seems to be working well so far, I am not sure I could afford to fill the car without the lease though! At the end of the 5 yrs we will sell it on and have a look around for another vehicle...at this stage it will be another Prado.

Question for all you lesees with modded vehicles though - at the end of the lease, do you strip the car back to stock and sell the parts seperately, or leave them on the car?

Strip it back to stock and put them on your new car or sell it.

Am leasing my 120. Will probably retire before 3 year lease expires. Will then buy outright.

I own or should that be the bank owns part of my house which has a Prado badge on it.
We looked at leasing however I don't fancy giving the government so much of my hard earned for the privilage (FBT)
The tax offset was not worth enough for us either.
