Maybe a review of how our system works will allay your fears. The senate only passes legislation approved by the house of reps. The greens have no sway in the lower house so any legislation they try to put up require the support of labor or liberal. Doubt that will happen any time soon.Originally posted by Hutch

There is a difference who I think will win (Labor) and who I want to win (Libs). I think another term by the current rabel will completly stuff up the country. I spent a good bit of my life dealing with unions and I never meet a leader I would **** if he was on fire. No I don't think they will agree with anything that will damage votes. And even if there was a serious threat to the recreation of a large group of voters they will take the safe route.
