  • Windsor Toyota

I have given Windsor Toyota a good rap before in the "good service" thread, but this story deserves its own thread. There are some great people at Windsor Toyota in the service dept anyway, but in this instance I need to give a VERY big applause to the Dealer Principal .

I have a friend who's son is on the autism spectrum and is turning 5 very soon. He lives in the Hawkesbury region of Sydney and drives past Windsor Toyota a lot, he calls it the "car party" because of all the balloons on the cars and loves Toyota in general. His Mum emailed them a few weeks ago asking if she could buy some Toyota merchandise for his birthday. They rang her today and said they would give him a "car party" of his own and let him come to the car yard and sit in the cars, wander about and they will give him the merchandise as a birthday present And they will give him the balloons too

This was too good to keep to myself. It's so good to find an understanding business
This is one business I plan to keep supporting

Yes, Lacey they're pretty good. Can't fault their 'reminder to book' when service time comes around. They kept calling me every other day to book even though I had already booked in a month ahead. (They had just installed their new computer system the week before) The brother-in-law and wife have been getting their Falcons done there for years rather than the local Ford dealer.

          Re: Windsor Toyota

Can't argue with this. I bought my car there and have had good service experiences since.

Only issue was that the aftermarket shop that fitted my dual battery left a clamp rubbing on the bottom of the top radiator hose, and the power steering reservoir flapping around, and WT failed to notice any of it during a subsequent service. Granted the original work wasn't down to them, but would have been good to pick it up. Had to change the hose by the time I noticed it as it was almost cut through.

I'm guessing most of the big workshops would have missed it as well.
