              I came across this avatar and as I have owned three Basset Hounds during my life, I thouht that "Bassett" would do for a username. Not very imaginative really.

                I haven't contributed to this thread before, my nick is so obscure i doubt anyone could have worked it out :wink: AJ first 2 names, Andrew James and 120 the series of my Prado. Yes i know you are all shocked at the amount of effort i put into thinking that one up :shock:

                Was originally just going to be AJ, but another AJ already beat me to it. If i had my time again i might have been a bit more imaginative.

                Speaking of Nicks, I notice that the grand poh ba Team Piggy has dropped the team and is now just Piggy!

                  Mine is the novell style username I was given in primary school. The first six letters of my surname followed by the first two of my first name.

                  Its quite lame really.... I'm thinking of asking Piggy to change it :?

                    We were talking about our nicknames with Chippy at the Quindaning pub this afternoon and thought there should be a thread for this , well I'm a bit late.

                    My nick name "Casper" came from the translucent colour of my skin which has a lot to do with my Irish heritage and 6 generations of living in Australia hasnt resolved the problem. Being bought up in Lismore NSW within 20 ks of some of Australia's best surfing spots didnt help my cause. All the kids I went to school with were very bronzed, hence when the school swimming carnival came around and I Pealed off the shirt they all complained about the glare I created so I was tagged as Casper the friendly Ghost.
                    As for 1956, something to do with the creaking bones

                              My nickname is the same one i have had for years on a couple of different forums. In 3 parts. I own a HDT Aero, build number 5, and my name is Damian. Hence, HDT Damo 5.

                              Originally it was made for a few of the Holden / Commodore forums I used to frequent.

                                I have had mine for many years, it also used to be my email address with whichever ISP I was using (trekrider@.....).

                                About 10 years ago I bought a new road bicycle manufactured by Trek - it should now be obvious - Trek rider I still have the same bike and ride it to work as much as I can.
