Yes it is funny, but I don't think it's the vehicles fault. We don't know the condition of his tyres. I'd hazzard a wager in that they're very worn HT tyres.

The tyres did look like slicks. There is a closeish shot with the tyres are turning reasonable slowly and no obvious chuncks indicating an AT or MT. Also he could have tried alterbnating the streering left and right to allow the tyres to get a little bit if possible so would suggest he is probably somewhat inexperienced. I've probably donw something similar at some point as have most. He was just unlucky to be caught on camera doing it :wink:

Thats funny.

I have done something similar in the snowys, Perisher valley car park, early morning... was good fun. suzuki sierra, off road tyres..
And the parking attendant just standing there waiting...

Funny in so many ways, including one of the boys on the rig owns a pimped up one - so I've forwarded the link along!!!

I actually thought the sheepish look both ways out the window just before it was closed was the best - cos hiding behind glass really works, right? But I do feel sorry for him, that would have been very embarassing...

Seen that one before ( on the Land Rover forum funnily enough ).

Interesting range of comments under the video - many of them have less of a clue how a Range Rover works than the driver (e.g. "lock your hubs" :roll: )
But don't laugh too loud - I don't see that a Prado with same wheels and tyres on would do much better - the drive train and traction control works much the same way.

If it were me, after the first minute or so I'd be out letting the tyres down ( maybe he didn't want to get his feet muddy )
