Themacell HAVE YOU TRIED ONE?

I gave one of these a go when I was up north and man do they make the skeeters run for their lives. Out on the Adelaide river fishing in the tinny and the mozzies were thick but when I fired up the thermacell, 10 minutes later you could hear them in the distance buzzing around. I was umming and arring if this would work and bit the bullet, paid $39 for it and gave it a go (bunnings). When I moved the boat the wind affected it but at that speed the little critters can't bite anyway. Did a search on PP and had no hits on thermacell so what is your experience with it?

I've been using one of the Mortein lanterns for a while ( see below ) ... also very effective except when the wind is up.

This seems to be the same principal just a bit more sophisticated than using a candle for heat.
