Here's another beer I wonder if people have tried. Mango wheat beer from the Lauenbrau - German pub in the rocks in sydney. And before you call me a nancy, it's not my beer of choice but it's damn nice haha... oh and the serving ladies (beer wenches) are dressed very nicely in little german outfits... haha.

Beer Brands - most of em so long as it's cold.

My sister and her bloke make the best beer I've ever tasted- they have a mini brewery in a shed in her back yard. The beer comes via kegs through propper temprites and fridges. They have an old oven from an Italian Bakery and knock up the best bread and pizzas to scoff whlst imbibing.

Green Ginger Wine in winter - saves putting an extra blanket in the swag

I also drink plonk (red wine)

For a special treat I indulge with Kahlua in winter and malibu in summer.

Not a huge choice when I am in PNG so it is SP all the way. Can't say I have tried the export stuff so I will give it a go when I am up there next month.

I've been known to drink my own bathwater and I've won a couple of first prizes in the local Octoberfest home brewing competition but when the organisers kicked up a stink about be submitting my brew in a keg I bowed out as I can't be bothered preparing and cleaning all the bottles these days. Kegs are the way to brew for me, like to mix up the styles a bit. As for beer from the factory, I prefer a nice cold Tooheys New and basically anything else except for VB, Crown Lager and some others from the CUB stable. Made my first offering to the chunder fairy on KB when I was 16 and I don't think I have touched it since

usually TED's or Carlton Prem Dry. Nancy pants beer would have to be Barons Lager. add some green ginger wine in winter, also drink JB & JD, some reds or port.

Well most of you are a bit boring when it comes to beer choice. Cant beleive XXXX was top pic, yuk!! Way too many preservitives for my likeing. That stuff gives me a headache as does VB. Personally im a fan of German, Belguim and Dutch (my families Dutch) Beer. No nasty extras in these, just pure water and made the old fashion way. I normally dont spend more then $38 a case or slab (depending where you live). I never wake up to a roaring hangover and I know your thinking Heiniken is German, no its Dutch and its not overly popular with the locals. Its more of a Fosters too us. If you dont mind trying somthing new I would recommend Hollandia, Amsterdammer, Amstel, Rambrant or even Bravaria. All these avaliable in Australia and most under $40. Live a bit try something new.
