The thread hijack was identified by a pp member not a moderator and a moderator subsequently rectified the issue.
No member of the admin or moderator team has displayed any bias or favouritism with the removal of the above posts.
Freedom of speech is how all forums operate, but the moderating team are simply trying to maintain a standard of thread that the wider PP community might actually consider taking the time to even open and read....

On other forums I am a member of the mods inform you if there is a problem with your posts. That didn't happen here, they were just removed without comment. I maintain that if you're going to delete OT posts then do it to all of them and not just a select few. As for it being a thread hijack I disagree but seems NTP had other ideas.Comment

That is why there are moderators, to control what is posted, for comments that may be off-topic, rude, offensive, etc.: otherwise everything would be posted, people offended, businesses abused.
A couple of my comments have disappeared, no big deal (thieves and politicians annoy me, maybe they are related)
In the big world, not everybody likes each other, there will always be a conflict about something or someone.
This forum is to help other Prado owners, give hints or tips about driving, accessories to buy or use, places to visit, etc, so we just move along and accept the mods advice.Comment
