King Hut Rebuild (VIC)- From 9th April - Easter

The High Country Huts Association and Parks Victoria along with the CFA 4Wd club are commencing the rebuild of the King River Hut over the Easter period and the two weeks prior
Anyone from this forum wishing to travel up and assist is most welcome.
Most work will occur over Easter but they are also looking for help the two weekends prior to Easter ( removing old chimney, preparing the footings etc ).

It will be a good social atmosphere as well.

The King Hut is about an hour and a half drive from Mansfield.
If you've never been there it is a lovely part of the high country.

That would be great to get involved in a community project like that. If I lived over that way and didn't have as many commitments as I currently do I would volunteer to head up there for maybe a week to help out. Good luck with your involvement. Post some photos if you can. Would be good to see how it turns out.
