      Hey man I completely missed this thread - you shoulda mentioned it in the usual "NSW next day out".. Would have been a great for testing out the lockers and towing out some Nissans!

        Sorry Glen, it was organized at short notice. The sand was pretty easy today. It was fairly well compacted after the rain.

        A 5.7L V8 Jeep with 22" rims had to turn around at the entrance to Anna Bay because he realised he had no air in his tyres he could let out :lol:
        The Frankenstein convoy (CRV, Prado 120, F150, Patrol, Range Rover, Jimny) had to continue without him.

                Best bet is if you see sand drop pressure first.

                    The sand was pretty firm for the most part so we only dropped them to 20 till we encountered that soft patch on the dune.

                        Was there previous Saturday. Hardly anyone on the beach surprisingly. Sand was very dry and hard going, struggling even at 15psi. 17 yo nephew demolished my ARB bash plate on a low dune. Have to get a tougher one.

                        Cheers.
                        [SIZE=1]Cheers Jim.

                            Just looked at the video. Nice jump! I hope you gave the car a good wash after the water driving - It is something I try to avoid. When I was there a few ago they closed off a lot of the higher dunes on the nothern side.
