Well I have just decided to have a camping weekend up at Kenilworth, finally going to catch up with an old school mate I haven't seen in............. cough cough, 25 years, going to have some drinks as well as some much needed wheeling in the state forest, He is one of those Landrover Freaks, so I am going to show him how much better life is with a Prado.
If anyone is up that way and would like to tag along on some tracks, Most likely Sunday and Monday Morning, your more than welcome, just look out for a Green and Silver Prado, and a Grey Landrover, we will be at the Charlie Morlands Camping ground.

Got back from my trip today, had a ball, my mates Landrover actually has less wheel travel in the front than the Prado, LMAO.

Hey Crooza, how were the track there? We were over at the Jimna/Kilcoy area doing a recce for the GTG and they were still damp under foot.
Did your mates lack of travel get him stuck? Always good to see a Prado recovering another brand
      Cheers, Leon
There's no such thing as a wrong turn... it's just the scenic route!

        Hey Snaga
The tracks were very wet, and the main track is closed due to a land slip, but you can get as far as the lookout (via a little detour). You need to stick to the lower tracks up to the hut, there is one creek crossing which is reasonably deepish, (to the bottom of the grill), but very passable, still plenty of tracks to use, if you use some caution in the wet.

The wheel travel on the Rover got it stuck a few times as well as the clearance, he bottomed out alot, where as the Prado never did, he had to try alot harder to get up the same tracks as me, untill he threw in the white lowel and we turned back.
