Yep, magic spot. By BIL used to have a share in an old shack there which had million dollar views. There were only a handful of these old (and very basic) shacks and I believe they have all since been bulldozed down. Must've been ten years since we camped there last.

Have just moved to Hervey Bay and a local said if you want a spot as good as Fraser with no barges, no dingos and only a maximum of a 120 people (not 120 campers but people) over 10klms of beach then head to Kinkuna.

It's a great spot and definitely more restful than Teewah. We were at Teewah over the Queen's birthday weekend and it was crazy.

Great to see another Hervey Bay member.

Hey Matt,

Yeah we moved here in January and all I can say is why the hell didn't I do it earlier. This place is paradise and I wouldn't move back to brissy ever again if I can help it.
